Evidencia was founded in 1999 by Jeanne and Olivier Barrault in Cape town, South Africa.

This is a perfect marriage of enthusiasm and organizational skills.

Jeanne worked for many years as a stylist for Elle in Paris and now offers her skills exclusively to Evidencia’s clients in South Africa. Sensible for the photographic eye, the right touch for fabrics and composition enables her to find the perfect reflection of both the clients’ wants and needs.

Coming from an extreme sports background, Olivier has a great passion for surfing, skiing, skydiving and flying helicopters. This enables him to make quick decisions, issue clear instructions and evaluate the risks for extraordinary sets that push the borders, if needs be.

Their personalities, professionalism and their privileged personal skills in relation to their clients and crew have made Evidencia the success that it is today.

After being asked many times by creative directors and artistic directors whether Evidencia was producing TV commercials, we decided in 2009 to open the Evidencia Film division.
